Monica has strong roots in various types of dance performance, particularly ballet. In 2007, while studying at Colorado State University, these roots took ground in yoga when she attended a power yoga class on campus and instantly fell in love. Monica quickly developed a passion for yoga and its many great qualities. Practice with breath-work and movement has made a huge impact in all aspects of her everyday life. Stressful situations soon became manageable, and thinking became much clearer. From her positive experiences with yoga, Monica knew she wanted to make it a bigger part of her life. She decided to complete her 200 hour certification for yoga and do additional training in yoga, which she continues today. Her love and passion for yoga has grown over the years as and she hopes to share the gift of yoga with everyone. Monica wants to create a great experience for all of her students and strives to be the best teacher she can be.


Spending time with family and friends, biking, snowboarding, working out with cardio and weights, hiking and walking with her dog, Archie, cooking and baking, listening to music and going to concerts.
